On track again

After a week of what felt like out of control eating, I am back on track, and have stayed within the program guidelines for two consecutive days. My guess is that it'll take another 4-5 days of enforced stringency before the cravings and urge to binge completely dissapate. Thus far I have refused cupcakes, chicken fingers, cookies, and the many evil temptations at McD's. We did send out our intrepid aide (Thanks Marie!) to McD's for food before they closed tonight, but I had the Cobb salad with grilled chicken and about 1/2 of a packet of dressing rather than any true evilness. Since I substituted that for my dinner entree, and it comes in (with dressing) at 280 calories, it counts for being on target, plus had the salad greens I was craving. The other vegetable looming large in my fantasies and tickling the edges of my brain is brocolli. I must buy some on the way home in the morning--I've been wanting steamed brocolli with garlic for days on end. All in all, the week of lapse put three pounds back on my tuchus, which could have been a lot worse, so I'm trying to silence the irritating voice of conscience that is kvetching about a week of eating what struck my fancy.

I have been trying not to eat Wendy's salads myself but they are so good and I count the cheese and chicken as my three dairys for the day but their dressings a all high in calorie so the last one I had, I ate dry and it was still really good! Beware of subways honey mustard dressing, it had 190 calories!
